Dark Possession (*Audio CD)

Dark Possession by Christine Feehan

Manolito & Mary Anne's story.

I read this book back in January, but decided to listen to it on audiobook. I'm really enjoying it this time around, although it took a little while to get used to the male/female narrators.

Start: 11.22.08
Finish: 12.02.08

72. The Shadows of Christmas Past

The Shadows of Christmas Past - 2 Novellas

CHRISTINE FEEHAN - "Rocky Mountain Miracle" I really liked this story. It's the first non-series story I've read by her.

SUSAN SIZEMORE - "A Touch of Harry" She's another favorite of mine. I really enjoyed this story too, even though it was quite a bit shorter.

Start: 10.01.08
Finish: 10.07.08

69. Dark Curse

Dark Curse by Christine Feehan

Start: 09.21.08
Finish: 09.24.08

Lara & Nicolas

Loved the book . . . HATED the ending.

I've noticed with the last few books, she's been leaving cliff-hangers at the end of the book. Let's just say she's left a whopper of a cliff-hanger on this book.

I was totally mystified when I turned the page to see APPENDIX 1. What the heck . . . I can't believe she left the story hanging this way.

The storyline is definitely a nailbitter right now, but I hate to be hanging like this. UGH!! Dark Slayer comes out sometime in 2009 ... Watch it be September. . .

54. Turbulent Seas

Turbulent Sea (6th Drake Sister) by Christine Feehan

Start: 8/17/08
Finish: 8/20/08

It was a lot of fun watching Joley come to terms with the destiny she faced with Ilya. And lets face it . . . Ilya is a super intriguing (hot) guy.

I did miss the interaction between all the sisters. They were kept at a distance for 95% of this book, whereas the other books had a lot more interaction between them.

I kind of miss the guys too. Damon, Matt, Alexsandr, Ty, Jonas, Jackson . . . They're all amazing guys . . . but Hannah's book is the only one that really even featured more than a glimpse of them.

45. Predatory Game

Predatory Game (Book 6 Ghost Walker)
By Christine Feehan

Start: 7/11/08
Finish: 7/14/08

Jesse Callhoune & Saber Wynter

I just love watching the intrigue unfold during this series. Jess & Saber are a different kind of couple. It was nice to see a couple that knew each other for months vs. a couple of days before they hooked up.

44. Safe Harbor

Safe Harbor (Drake Sisters Book 5) by Christine Feehan

Start: 7/9/08
Finish: 7/11/08

Hannah Drake & Jonas Harrington

This one was worth the wait. Hannah is my favorite Drake sister, and I've been waiting on her story ever since Jonas wished on the snow globe during Kate's story.

It was a great story with lots of unexpected happenings going on.

41. Deadly Game

Deadly Game (Book 5 Ghost Walkers)
By Christine Feehan

Start: 6/29/08
Finish: 7/1/08

Ken Norton & Mari

I enjoyed this one, but it wasn't quite as good as the last few I've read. This story seemed a little rushed to me.

Finish: 6/29/08

Libby & Ty Derrick

38. Magic In The Wind

Magic In The Wind by Christine Feehan

Start/Finish: 6/24/08

This was a short story in an anthology that was reprinted as a separate book.

Quick read featuring Sarah Drake (the eldest) and Damon Wilder.

I'm glad I tracked it down. It's a nice introduction to the main characters & the residents of Sea Haven. I understand Jonas a little better by reading this book.

Conspiracy Game (Audiobook Download)

Conspiracy Game (Book 4 Ghost Walkers)
by Christine Feehan
Narrated by Tom Stechschulte

Start: 6/17/08
Finish: 6/20/08

Jack Norton & Briony Jenkins

Great book! The action just keeps getting better with each book. I can't wait to get my hands on Ken & Mari's story . . . Deadly Game.

Night Game (Audiobook Download)

Night Game (Book 3 Ghost Walkers)
by Christine Feehan
Narrated by Tom Stechschulte

Start: 6/13/08
Finish: 6/17/08

Raoul "Gator" Fontenot & Iris "Flame" Johnson

Whoa, baby . . . I'm really getting into this series. The first couple of books were good, as they did a great job of setting the back story for the Ghost Walkers . . . but with this 3rd book, I'm familiar with most of the Ghost Walkers and the action in these books have picked up tremendously. Plus, I just love kick-ass heroines! Flame is GREAT! Gator is . . . hubba, hubba!

I wasn't sure I'd like listening to one of Feehan's books, and if it was a female narrator I probably wouldn't. However, the narrator for this series does a wonderful job. I just love the accent he uses for Gator.

Mind Game (Audiobook Download)

Mind Game (Book 2: Ghost Walkers) by Christine Feehan

Start: 6/8/08
Finish: 6/13/08

Nicolas Trevane & Dahlia Le Blanc

I really liked the chemistry between these two characters. I also love the ghost walkers as a group. What a hoot!

Oceans of Fire (Audiobook Download)

Oceans of Fire (3rd Drake Sister) by Christine Feehan

Abigail & Aleksandr Volstov

Start: 6/1/08
Finish: 6/8/08

This was another great Drake Sister book.

19. Dark Celebration

Dark Celebration by Christine Feehan

Well, this was that last book in the Dark Series that I had left to read. Looks like I'll have to revisit a few of my favorites again soon.

This was one of my favorite books in the series. I loved the updates on my favorite couples and seeing where future books might go.

I can hardly wait for Skyler & Dimitri's story. Manolito and Mary Anne's story was amazing. I can just imagine what's in store for Skyler.

Josef is going to be an interesting character too. And Gabrielle and Gary . . . will they get together, or is there a Carpathian lifemate waiting to claim her.

It appears Dark Curse will be her next book due out in September. Looks like another De La Cruz brother (Nicholas) will find his lifemate in this one.

5. Dark Possession

Dark Possession by Christine Feehan

Manolito & Mary Anne's story.

I really enjoyed this one. The books are very predictable, but still very entertaining to read. It's interesting to see how each couple get to the end result. They all struggle with the same decision, but it's fun to see how they get there.

Start: 1/21/08
Finish: 1/25/08

2. Dark Symphony

Dark Symphony by Christine Feehan
