Vengeance in Death (Audio CD)

Vengeance in Death (In Death #6) by J.D. Robb

Start: 02.10.09
Finish: 02.15.09

I really love watching the characters unfold in this series. Each case that involves Roarke, we get to see another facet of his personality. Watching Roarke & Eve's relationship grow stronger is pretty awesome too.

McNab was introduced in this book as an E-detective. I think I'm really going to like him. Peabody was pretty cool in this book too.

Mavis was a blip in this book, but Nadine made a couple of appearances.

I'm enjoying this series so much & I'm so glad I've got quite a few more to catch up on!

5. Born to be B.A.D.

Born to be B.A.D. (Books #1-3) by Sherrilyn Kenyon

Start: 02.02.09
Finish: 02.08.09

One BAD Night - Sam & Jason - This one was ok, but probably my least favorite of the bunch though.

BAD to the Bone - Marrianne & Kyle: This was a cute story - VERY much a steamy "romance" story. This was a fairly developed story for a novella.

"Captivated" by You - Rhea & Ace - I probably liked this one the best.

Rapture In Death (Audio CD)

Rapture in Death (In Death #4) by J.D. Robb

Start: 01.29.09

I'm really enjoying this series. Another great book!

Scarpetta (*Audio CD)

Scarpetta by Patrica Cornwell

Start: 01.18.09
Finish: 01.28.09

I really enjoyed this book. It was 100x's better than Book of the Dead. The characters were much lighter & I'm interested to see where she takes them next.

4. Casting Spells

Casting Spells by Barbara Bretton

Start: 01.21.09
Finish: 01.25.09

Paranormal & knitting - what's not to love.

This was a cute read. I hope the author writes more stories set in Sugar Maple.

3. Wolfsbane and Mistletoe (Anthology)

Wolfsbane and Mistletoe

I checked this book out for the Sookie Stackhouse story.

This was a partial read, as I didn't have time to finish all the stories. I really liked Karen Chance's "Rouge Element" story though. I need to check out her back list

Immortal In Death (Audiobook Download)

Immortal in Death (In Death #3) by J.D. Robb

Start: 01.15.09
Finish: 01.18.09

I really enjoyed this book. It's interesting watching Eve deal with everything at once. Roarke is such an amazing guy - they make one heck of a couple.

Mavis is just adorable, especially with Luther.

Once again, I managed to figure out the "who dunnit" as soon as the character was introduced, but the interesting twists and turns still made the story highly enjoyable.
