This one was a little tame for a Stephanie Plum novel. This go-a-round it's not the FTA's that are causing the problems . . . it's someone who's killing all her clues & leaving her threatening items. Ranger & Joe even team up to protect her.

It's really interesting how complex the characters are becoming. I'm on the fence now as to who I'd like her to end up with in the end. Both Ranger & Joe each have such unique strenghts and assets.

Lucian and Jaxon's story.

Finally a story where the human woman becomes a kick ass Carpathian after the conversion. It was great to see Jaxon fighting right beside Lucian. I guess it would've taken a women like that to be with the ultimate Carpathian male.

Here I was thinking Gregori was the ultimate, but along come the twins of legend . . . Lucian and Gabriel. They're all from the same line, "The Dark Ones", so of course they're going to be bad ass. Darius included.

I was a little disappointed in that this was an abridged cd set. I really enjoy the unabridged versions so much more. Needless to stay, Stephanie's adventures are very entertaining.

I pretty much had the who dunnit figured out fairly early, but the ending took me a little by surprise.

*Snort*, I really didn't think Mrs. Evanovich was capable of creating a character as funny as Stephanie Plum. Boy, was I wrong. Barney is hysterical. I almost had to pull over on the way home from work the other day, as I was laughing so hard I was crying.

Wonderful story . . . great characters. Slick & Gimpy totally cracked me up.

If you haven't read/listened to this, you should give it a shot!

This is the lastest book published. This one wasn't as comical as the previous ones. It's interesting to see the different characters getting more dimension as the series goes.

Her next story due out is in an anthology at the end of the month . . . Sugar Cane Murder and Carrot Cake Murder due out in March, 2008.

I hate that I'm all caught up with her series, but it will definitely let me get caught up on a few other authors in the meantime.

This was a VERY steamy book. All four stories were very good.

I really liked the last story, which involved vampires, but not in the "traditional" sense of the word. Very "otherworldly", and a unique twist.
