Seven Up (*Audio CD)

Seven Up by Janet Evanovich

Start:10/29/07
Finish: 10/31/07

I was a little disappointed in that this was an abridged cd set. I really enjoy the unabridged versions so much more. Needless to stay, Stephanie's adventures are very entertaining.

Hard Eight is locked & loaded. I'll be listening to it as soon as Eclipse is finished.

75. Dark Challenge

Dark Challenge by Christine Feehan

Start: 10/29/07
Finish: 10/30/07

Wow, this was a quick read. I stayed up way too late both nights . . . but SO worth it.

Dark Fire is "In Transit". Hopefully it'll get here by tomorrow.

Another great Stephanie book. Off to listen to Seven Up!

74. Kiss of Darkness

Kiss of Darkness by Heather Graham (a Shannon Drake Sequel)

Start: 10/24/07
Finish: 10/28/07

I just love this series. Everytime I finish a book, it makes me want to go back & re-read the previous books. In fact, I think I am going to go back and re-read the first 2 books soon.

73. Almost Dead

Almost Dead by Lisa Jackson

Start: 10/10/07
Finish: 10/23/07

This was a fairly decent book. It took a little time to get into it, as I had forgotten so much of If She Only Knew.

I pretty much had the who dunnit figured out fairly early, but the ending took me a little by surprise.

I just enjoy reading Lisa Jackson.

Motor Mouth (*Audio CD)

Motor Mouth by Janet Evanovich

Start: 10/18/07
Finish: 10/23/07

This was a great sequel to Metro Girl.

Completely hysterical. It's amazing the situations Barney gets into.

And Gobbles . . . isn't that a great character name?

Metro Girl (*Audio CD)

Metro Girl by Janet Evanovich

Start: 10/15/07
Finish: 10/17/07

*Snort*, I really didn't think Mrs. Evanovich was capable of creating a character as funny as Stephanie Plum. Boy, was I wrong. Barney is hysterical. I almost had to pull over on the way home from work the other day, as I was laughing so hard I was crying.

Wonderful story . . . great characters. Slick & Gimpy totally cracked me up.

If you haven't read/listened to this, you should give it a shot!

72. Blood Red

Blood Red by Heather Graham (a Shannon Drake sequel)

Start: 10/8/07
Finish: 10/9/07

Again, with the out-of-order reading. . .

Somehow I seem to have missed Kiss of Darkness, but it's been requested (and hopefully ready for pick up soon). Great story! A few characters I wasn't familiar with, and a few characters were "out-of-town" for this story.

70. Firstborn (Dragonlance: Elven Nation Trilogy)

Firstborn (Dragonlance: Elven Nations Trilogy by Paul B. Thompson, Tonya C. Cook

1st Book in Trilogy

Start: 9/30/07
Finish: 10/5/07

This book seemed to take forever to read. It definitely started getting good towards the end of the book. You can definitely tell this is a trilogy set.

It might be a little while before I get to the next book, as I have quite a few from the library that I need to read.

Just A Guy (*Audio CD)

Just A Guy by Bill Engvall
Start: 10/1/07
Finish: 10/2/07
This was a pretty good CD. There are a few very funny parts, along with a few very touching parts.
I enjoyed a brief glimpse into his life.

New Moon (*Audio CD)

New Moon by Stephenie Meyer

Start: 9/24/07
Finish: 10/1/07

I love, love, love this series! I love how the author leaves you waiting for the next book (which I've had requested for ages now). I can't wait to find out what happens in the next book.

I love Bella's relationship with Edward. My heart is going out for Jacob. It should be interesting to see how the characters handle the latest obstacle in the next book.
