This is the 4th book in the Blossom Street Series. This one centers around a bookstore.

I really liked this book, but was a little disappointed that the bulk of the stories took place outside the bookstore that it was based in. I thought there would be more get-togethers in the bookstore. Several well-loved characters "showed up" in the book with very little interaction, but it was lovely to see how the various stores interact with each other. I especially liked Barbie. She was probably my favorite widow.

What a wonderful return trip back to Blossom Street. Familiar faces and new friends are found in this wonderful book. Susannah, from Susannah's Garden is back with her new florist shop, along with Alix & Jacqueline from the first book, and appearances by the students from the 2nd book as well.

I love this series, not only because of the knitting element, but the friendships that are formed and grow throughout these books.

Another must read by this amazing author.

19. Promise Texas

Promise Texas by Debbie Macomber

This is book 7 in a series based in Promise, TX. I'm not sure if I've read any of the previous books or not, but Jane & Cal Patterson seem very familiar.

This was a pretty good book. I really like the various story lines instead of just one couple. This book went very fast!
