***** - I checked this book out because of this author. I just finished reading Kiss of the Night, and Dante was in that book. It was neat to read a story about one of the Were-Animals.

**** - This was a pretty good short story . . . Predictable, but a fun.

** This one was a struggle for me to read.

***** I really enjoyed this story. This was my 2nd favorite in this book.

This was an okay romance. It was pretty predictable, but then again . . . most romance novels are. Girl resists guy . . . girl's resistance starts to melt . . . girl & guy hook up . . . guy freaks out over some monkey wrench in the relationship . . . guy realizes he can't live without girl . . .

There's the basic outline for most romance novels . . . although some have a twist and reverese the girl/guy roles.

Skin by Ted Dekker

This is the first book I've read/listened to, so I wasn't sure what to expect.

This turned out to be a great suspense novel. Dekker really keeps you on your toes, and I'm still not sure IF I totally got everything. The book ends on a kind of cliffhanger . . . so it will be interesting to see if this is the end of the story, or if he has other books in mind for this.

I'll definitely be checking out more of his books.

This book started out a little slow, but man did it pick up some speed. I love the little twists that each of these Dark-Hunters end up having.

Wulf turned out to be a pretty awesome Dark-Hunter, and Cassandra is a pretty kick butt heroine.

Kat is introduced in this book (she's the heroine in Devil May Cry).

My favorite converted Dark-Hunters make an appearance in this book too. It's great that they show up in later books.

The Yearning by Hannah Howell - I love her stories . . . this is the reason I checked this book out. Another really good story from her.

Hell of a Time by Jackie Kessler - This is the first story I've read by this author. I think I liked it. I'm pretty sure that Jess & Paul are carry over characters from a full length book, so that sort of colors the story for me when I'm not familiar with the background story(ies).

City of Demonds by Richelle Mead - This was my least favorite story. . . It was just ok I guess.

Bitten by Lynsay Sands - I really liked this one too. This is another author I've been meaning to read, but just haven't found the time to get to them.

It was a lot of fun watching Joley come to terms with the destiny she faced with Ilya. And lets face it . . . Ilya is a super intriguing (hot) guy.

I did miss the interaction between all the sisters. They were kept at a distance for 95% of this book, whereas the other books had a lot more interaction between them.

I kind of miss the guys too. Damon, Matt, Alexsandr, Ty, Jonas, Jackson . . . They're all amazing guys . . . but Hannah's book is the only one that really even featured more than a glimpse of them.

I love her books, and when I saw this sitting on the shelf at the library I just had to check it out.

This was a pretty good story. I was a little creeped out by the fact that the lead lady was married to the lead man's father. . . but the explanation smoothed that out pretty quick.

Looks like there's a 2nd book . . . Just for Kicks with Carly. . . must see if library has this one too.

The Wedding of Wylda Serene by Esther M. Fiesner - This story was a little out there. . . just ok for me.
Charmed by the Moon by Lori Handeland - I really liked this one . . . it had a really sweet ending.
Tacky by Charlaine Harris - This author was one of the main reasons for checking out this book. Loved this story.
A Hard Day's Night-Searcher by Sherrilyn Kenyon - Another author reason . . . I just love her Dark-Hunters. . . Rafe is just another example of why I love them.

The latest Stephanie Plum novel. While I liked this one, it's not one of my favorites. She had less Bounty Hunter stuff . . . more mystery solving stuff . . . not enough Ranger. . . Oh yeah, and somehow Steph managed to keep the same car through the whole book (that, was a major disappointment.)

Final Twilight Novel . . . What a ride!

I loved this book. I've done my very best to avoid the previews & comments before the book actually came out. I had no idea how the series would end, and went in with an open mind . . . eager for the conclusion to this wonderful love story.

Bella had already made her difficult decisions at that conclusion of Eclipse, so I'm was excited to see how the story played out.

There were a lot of unexpected twists & turns (and additions) that were awesome. I got my happy-ever-after ending. Thank you Stephenie!
