Odd Thomas (*Audio CD)

Odd Thomas by Dean Koontz

David Aaron Baker (Narrator)

Started: 4/18/07
Finished: 4/20/07

This was a great story. I'd seen the book in stores, but it really didn't scream out to be read. However, listening to the Audio CD . . . wow, this is a great character with an amazing talent.

I enjoyed the story so much, I just requested Brother Odd & Forever Odd on Audio CDs from the library.

*I'm not including audio CD's for my tally count. Just noting for future reference Audio CD's I've listened to.

28. Wicked Nights

Wicked Nights by Nina Bangs.

Start: 4/19/07
Finish: 4/20/07

I read a book several months back with an excert from this book, and it was very intriguing. I love vampire books, and this was a pretty good one. There are two more books in this series, but the other two hotties are not vampires. One is a Sexual Demon & the other is an Immortal Warrior. I expected this to be a lot more explicit that it was. It actually turned out to be a very good story. Looks like I've got at least two more books to put on my must read list. It's starting to get pretty long.

27. After Midnight

I started reading After Midnight by Teresa Medeiros

Started: 4/16/07
Finished: 4/17/07

I thought I had already read this book, but it turns out I haven't. Adrian & Caroline's story was fantastic. Now . . . I just have to find Julian & Portia's story . . . The Vampire Who Loved Me. I wonder if the library has this?

Sieze The Night (*Audio CD)

Sieze The Night

Author: Dean Koontz
Narrator: Keith Szarabajka

Start: 4/12/07
Finish: 4/17/07

I've read both Fear Nothing & Seize The Night when they came out. In fact, I probably have them both in a box (or at Mom's). I absolutely love the character Christopher Snow. Listening to this audio cd was great. I'm coming to the conclusion that I really enjoy thriller/suspense audio cds. This was such a great story. I has me wanting to find Fear Nothing & give it a go for the 2nd time around.

26. Castle Magic

Castle Magic by Hannah Howell, Judith E. French, Colleen Faulkner

Started: 4/14/07
Finished: 4/15/07

This was a quick read. Somehow, I had missed this book when it came out. Actually, I hadn't "discovered" Hannah Howell yet. I just love her stories, so I thought I'd check this out from the library. I loved her story. The other two were pretty good also. I haven't read anything by the other two authors. Their stories were pretty good also.

Holter Graham (Narrator)

This turned out to be a very interesting story. A gardner's wife is kidnapped. It's a compelling story of the lenghts a husband will go to save his wife.

Dean Koontz is an amazing writer. This was a wonder story to listen to. I'm really starting to enjoy books on CD.
